2 couples visiting Williamsburg

We are coming to Williamsburg in early April for a 1 week stay. We are interested in Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown, possible trip to DC, Annapolis, or the Eastern Shore. Advise would be appreciated as to how many days to plan for CW, how feasible is it to try to go to DC, and any other ideas. We%26#39;ll be traveling from Georgia and will have our car. Thanks.

You need about 3 days for CW, and 1 day for both Jamestown sites. If you%26#39;re interested in Yorktown, you%26#39;ll want 1 day for both Yorktown sites and the Riverwalk area. Drive to DC takes about 3 1/2 hours, more or less, so you%26#39;d probably want to spend the night in the DC area. You could spend another day driving back from DC via the Eastern Shore with a stop at Chincoteague.
