We are heading down February 15th for 4 nights with 3 kids (ages 14, 10 and 10).
What can we do during this weekend???
Thanks
What to do with 3 kids in February?
If you visit the colonial williamsburg website, you will see a calendar choice. You can enter your dates and see programs available during the day. There are also sections for evening programs and Kimball theater. This will give you an idea of what will be available during your stay.
I hope this is of some help to you.
What to do with 3 kids in February?
I took a youth group, ranging in age from 11-15, to Williamsburg last summer. We took a day to tour/wonder around Colonial Williamsburg, and took half a day to tour the Jamestown Settlement (a favorite among all the kids). Also took the kids to the outlet shops. It was odd but they all loved that, even the boys!
Another idea is to see if the Wolf Lodge does day passes for their indoor water park.
Thanks everyone...we have decided to go in April instead. Has anyone ever stayed at Williamsburg Plantation? Reviews seem good, but nothing since September 2007.
Haven%26#39;t stayed at Williamsburg Plantation, I%26#39;m sorry. But to add to your other question, the site for Colonial Williamsburg is (www.colonialwilliamsburg.com). I would definitely recommend checking it out before you go. Colonial Williamsburg is definitely a place that has so many activities going on that you could easily miss something you may have wanted to check out if you didn%26#39;t plan ahead of time. Also, when their event schedule comes out for April (if it hasn%26#39;t already), I would definitely recommend getting one of those for the week you plan to visit. It wil list the times %26amp; places %26amp; details for all the events by day %26amp; also a detailed map of the area.
Also, you may have some extra time to visit Busch Gardens for a day, which is really fun.
And don%26#39;t forget the surrounding areas for easy side-trips, such as the neighboring city of Newport News (www.newport-news.org) The entire area is jam-packed with historic sites, museums, plantations, beaches, everything you can think of for people of all ages.
Have fun!
