What to and see?

What is there to do and see in the S. Boston area? I%26#39;m thinking about a few days - maybe going up to Petersburg or over to Lynchburg. I%26#39;ve stayed at Berry Hill- prob. will again...any advice? Thanks!

Hi Bud, I feel like I know you from reading so many of your posts on the NC forum...you%26#39;ve given me alot of good information (without knowing it). Wish I could return the favor but I%26#39;m not knowledgable of SB. I will suggest if you get to Lynchburg and have the time, drive a bit furthur west to Bedford and visit the D-Day Memorial and Peaks of Otter on the Blue Ridge Pkwy, great hiking. Happy trails.

My husband grew up near S. Boston, and truthfully there is not a lot to see/do there. Downtown S. Boston has a few neat little shops and outside the town there is the South Boston Speedway, other than that not much.

Like the previous poster said I would stay closer to the Lynchburg area.
