This will be our first time to VB. Only 4 of us wife, I, 2 kids of 5 and 3 yrs old. I%26#39;m planning a week of vacation there this summer. What is the best recommendation for kids ? Need to have a place with pool (public is fine), a kitchen. Thanks for any input.

Where to stay in Virgina Beach and best time to go ?The Sandcastle is kid friendly, has kitchen suites and a small but nice pool. Also, it is close to a kids playground on the sand. The owners are local and live right here at the Beach.

You might take a look at Turtle Cay...quieter southern end, pretty Caribbean look, near restaurants, right across the street from the beach, near one of the small stages where music is performed on the boardwalk.
Thanks for some input, folks. Turtle Cay looks nice from its site and recommended by some others. Unfortunately, it%26#39;s out of our price range. The Sandcastle one looks decent. Thanks again.
