Not sure I can help you with pointers on the accomodations, but when my nephew was your son%26#39;s age, he just loved going to the aquarium (and still does). It%26#39;s also a good rainy-day activity.

sorry about the incorrect spelling
i would like to know if ending of aug-sept is hurricaine season.
Officially, hurricane season runs through November, but hurricanes come up through Virginia Beach infrequently. I wouldn%26#39;t say it%26#39;s rare, but it%26#39;s not very common either. They usually skip off the coast of NC and go back out to sea. When one does make it to VaBch, it%26#39;s usually reduced to a tropical storm before it gets there. That%26#39;s not to say that hurricane-strength storms don%26#39;t come through at all; they do. But I didn%26#39;t want to worry you too much. If it%26#39;s possible to buy hurricane insurance for your trip, I would always recommend it for the peace of mind.
Shoot for Turtle Cay. Villas should be ok too, but Turtle Cay is very pretty.
No to Atrium (location) - side road
No to Beach Quarters - ify reviews last time I checked
I would go for the Turtle Cay, it is convenient to everything %26amp; is on the quiet end (south) of Va Beach.
