weather in williamsburg in april?
Usually April, especially late April, is quite nice. Days are normally 65-70, warm/cool, sunny, sometimes rain, very comfortable to tour the area. What does your family like to do? kids? The Colonial W%26#39;burg area is enjoyed by all ages, go to one of the Taverns for lunch or dinner, go on a Ghost walk one evening. Drive Colonial Parkway (scenic) to Jamestown (2 areas near ea other) and Yorktown (lunch/dinner on riverfront). Nice museums for adults and kids in Hampton/Newport News area too, Mariners%26#39; Museum, Air %26amp; Space, Va Living Museum and more. Depending how much time you have and your interests, drive (1 hr fm W%26#39;burg) to downtown Norfolk, visit the USS Wisconsin %26amp; Nauticus next door, MacArthur Memorial, downtown waterfront, drive 30 minutes more to Va Beach oceanfront, put your toes in the Atlantic, walk, bike (rentals) the 2 1/2 mi boardwalk, First landing State Park 10 min from oceanfront, hiking trails. Lots to see and do, enjoy your visit.

I just wanted to say thank you for the very informative response. My family of 5 will be visiting in April as well and we will be spending a week. We have not done a lot of travel and I was a bit worried that we would run out of things to do. I look forward to trying most of your recommendations.
Thanks again.
To csmith3pmg,
