We will be passing through on our way to Virginia Beach and back to Richmond, is there anything that is a must see or a place to stop for lunch? Not wanting to spend the whole day there, maybe a few hours. We%26#39;ll be coming through May 1st and 2nd.

I would suggest touring one of the plantations on Route 5. Shirley and Berkley were wonderful!

If you have never been to Williamsburg, stop by the visitors center, see if there is an activity that interests you and fits your timeframe. Go to the shops, have lunch, and walk around the ';no ticket'; area to get a feel for Colonial Williamsburg. It wouldn%26#39;t be worth your while to purchase CW tickets if you only have a few hours. Zoey is the destination expert for W%26#39;burg, find a post she has responded to and click on ';more about Zoey...'; and read some of her suggestions. Even though your time in W%26#39;burg may be brief, you%26#39;ll enjoy it.
