Anybody have any thoughts on the timeshare 2 bedrooms at Williamsburg Plantation. Thinking of going down there with the kids during Spring break, the first week of April. Never been before. Wondering aobut the accomodations and if enough is open to do there at that time of year.
Williamsburg PlantationI have no personal knowledge of the Williamsburg Plantation.
Colonial Williamsburg is open year-round; Busch Gardens will be open weekends for sure. Jamestown (both sites), Yorktown (both sites plus the Riverwalk), perhaps a plantation or two along the James River? Bicycle rentals are available. Not sure of kids ages or interests, but this may give you a starting point. Ask if you have further questions.
Williamsburg PlantationI have been trying to find out more on Williamsburg Plantation, please share any information you can with me!!! Thanks
My parents stayed at Williamsburg Plantation last year and enjoyed it so much they bought a timeshare there. They%26#39;ll be going back in May and we%26#39;ll all be going on Oct.
Check the reviews here on TripAdvisor. It%26#39;s ranked #1 of 6 specialty lodgings in Williamsburg.

Thanks so much, I have read all of the reviews a few times --- since this is going to be our only family vacation, I want to make sure that it is a good, clean, family fun resort to stay in... What do your parents like about it? Any draw backs?
Hi lkelleher,
I just called my mom and she said they really liked how clean and nicely appointed the units were. She said they had no problems w/ noise and there were no hooligans staying there (none in Williamsburg at all). The pool was closed when they were there so you might get a little bit more noise in the summer. The best thing is that they weren%26#39;t pestered to buy a time share.
Two units share laundry facilities, but she was thrilled to have access to laundry.
She said the kitchen was cramped but fine as long as you weren%26#39;t trying to cook a turkey dinner.
The only negative she came up with is that you need a car. There is also no restaurant on the property but there are lots within a short drive.
Like I said they were big enough fans of Williamsburg Plantation and the area to actually buy a timeshare.
Hope this helped! Good luck in your planning and travels!
Thank you so much! We are driving so we will have our van -- I can%26#39;t wait to go and have summer. We live in Michigan and I am tired of getting hammered with snow!
If there is any other information about the resort or Williamsburg please let me know! Thank you again!
Lisa
