Howard Johnson at the end of May?

Well its been about 5-6 years since I have been to Va Beach. I just booked 5 nights at the Howard Johnson Oceanfront hotel for May 27th. Is this a safe location, Nice hotel and do you think it will be crowded at the end of May? The reason we booked May because we like to go when its not too crowded. Thanks for the help...

Very good location because it%26#39;s central on the boardwalk and you%26#39;ll be able to walk to most places. At the end of the May you%26#39;ll be ahead of most tourists since school will still be in session. Of course, the place should start hopping because of Memorial Day which is the official beginning of the season. You%26#39;ll be in time for the Patiotic Festival (Sugarland, Brian McKnight, and Travis Tritt are coming). Check patrioticfestival.com for events and locations. I think there is something at 5th, 8th, and 31st Streets.

Thanks for the reply Wendy. Im gonna check out that website right now. Im really looking forward to my trip to Va Beach. :) I will be in the Chincoteague area for a while too visiting my sister. Cant wait thanks for the help.
