Bed and Breakfast in Old Town

I am looking for a Bed and Breakfast (or a small hotel) in Old Town Alexandria for the last week of May or first week of June. I am looking to spend under $150 a night.

It doesn%26#39;t need to be fancy, just offer a good nights sleep, a private bath, and a good breakfast.

Your suggestions are welcome.

Bed and Breakfast in Old Town

Unfortunately, we do not have bed and breakfasts in the historic district core. However, there are so many hotel choices now and with the ';check rates'; button here on TA, you can know in a flash how much the various room rates costs.

We have a brand new hotel ';Hotel Monaco'; that has just opened in the old Holiday Inn space at 400 King Street. This is a cool boutique hotel right in the middle of the old city. Rates are all over the place and you might snag a room near your rate.

Most other hotels in the core area are all within walking distance of Metro and the historic district. Suggest searching zip code 22314 to narrow your choices. Rooms at conventional hotels are $120/night range if over a weekend. Weekdays tend to rise to capture business travelers.

1400 block area of King street includes the most choices in hotels. Also, see my recommendation for Residence inn, which includes breakfast, dinner buffet and cocktails and snacks...they are 2 blocks away on Duke St.
