Weather in June

I am planning a short stay in VA Beach early June. Wondering what the weather was like? Is it usually warm? Is the ocean warm enough to swim? We have always visited in July and was not familar with the weather in June.

Usually, the first week or two tend to be a little cooler and more rainy than the last two weeks, at least that has been our experience. We have gone to Va. Beach every year for the past 12 yrs. We have had to wear sweats before in early June. The 3rd and 4th week are perfect. Hot but not too hot, the ocean is still a little cool but not unbearable.

Weather in June

The weather in June can vary but is usually very warm, anywhere from 70%26#39;s to 80%26#39;s, with the evenings in the 60%26#39;s, light jacket if anything.

Yes, the water will still be warming up, but it depends on your tolerance. At the Sand Soccer tournament the first week in June (FYI) everyone is in the water, at least the kids.
