i will be staying at the red roof inn on williamsburg for richmond may race . is this hotel as bad as some of the reviews ive been reading?

Haven%26#39;t stayed there but it appears that this hotel, along with the Clarion next door, used to be a Holiday Inn. I would guess that the Clarion would be the nicer of the two buildings.

That could have been a one-time thing. This hotel has been recently remodeled and should be fine as long as you don%26#39;t expect it to be the Hilton or Ritz-Carlton.

The only place I would really avoid staying at is the Legacy Inn (former Knights Inn), which is very unsafe. By the way, the Hampton Inn is undergoing renovations and will soon be a Best Western.
