Hi planning a visit to Williamsburg area in March. I have a 13 and 10 year old sons. Both love history. Are there any theme type restaurant experiences other than the ones on site in Colonial Williamsburg. Also any other restaurant recommendations would be appreciated.

No, the taverns in Colonial Williamsburg are pretty much it. However, we have a number of other good choices, depending on price range, type of food, etc. There have been some good recent threads. Go to the search box just above your thread title, type in restaurant, then sort by date, and you%26#39;ll find the more recent comments first. If you have more questions, ask away.

Hope you haven%26#39;t left for Williamsburg yet. If you are going to be there on a Wednesday, Friday or Saturday night, I can recommend the Mystery Dinner Theatre. The shows are silly little comedy mysteries which are fun and would appeal to your kids. (My kids were 11 and 14 when we went and they had a great time.) Your family will have a good time trying to figure out ';whodunit';. Check their website for more info--they often have online discounts too.
