Chincoteague in March

I will be in Chincoteague in March with my husband a two teenagers. We will stay at the Hampton. Any suggestions on what to expect for weather and what might be open?

Chincoteague in March

Weather is difficult to predict. The past two days in Va Beach have been in the upper 70%26#39;s, the next 5 days are supposed to be in the 50%26#39;s.

Since there are many year round residents in Chincoteague, many restaurants should be open.

One of our favorites is Bill%26#39;s on Main Street. Good homecooking in a relaxed elegant atmosphere, really nice people.

From the people we talked to while in Belize, it will be am improvement over Minnesota. Understand its been really cold up there.

As was pointed out, the weather is very unpredictable that time of year. Cold (by our standars) and rainy all the way to 70 degrees with blue skies. I%26#39;ve kayaked over there in March and almost drowned (from rain) in a campsite.

Its a neat town and we like the Hampton Inn. You can walk all over town from there.

AJ%26#39;s is a nice restaurant too. We like to get sandwiches or pizza and eat at Memorial Park too. Nice views there. Someone can tell you where it is.

If you%26#39;d like to see several pictures of the town and Assateague Island, you can check our website.
