Will be in Carrollton Va. next week. Where is the closest beach to Carrollton?

The Va Beach oceanfront is about an hour from Carrollton. There is also a beach in Hampton called Buckroe which is about 1/2 hr. The water is quite cold for a swim, but air temps probably between 45-55. Good luck.

Thanks for your help. Are there any hotels on Buckroe Beach? Can%26#39;t seem to find any online.

The Buckroe Beach area is mostly residential and I am not aware of a motel on the beach (maybe someone else will post with suggestions). The closest hotel I know of is Hampton Marina Hotel (previously a Radisson), www.hamptonmarinahotel.com, it%26#39;s about 5+ min located in downtown Hampton next to Air %26amp; Space Museum.
