Could anyone tell me how easy or hard it would be to get from the Amtrak station on Staples Mill Road to Richmond Airport.Might have to do this on a Sunday so would taxi%26#39;s be available?

You many want to have several taxi phone numbers just in case taxi%26#39;s are not available at Amtrak when you arrive. You can also get information concerning limo%26#39;s from the Richmond airport website at www.flyrichomnd.com under ground transportation.

I use the Amtrak in Richmond often (and arrive often on Sunday) and there are always taxis available at the station when trains arrive. The taxi companies know the schedule and stay aware of when trains will arrive even when they%26#39;re late.
You may want to contact some of the taxi companies listed to find out if they have a flat rate to the airport. The Amtrak station and RIC are quite a distance away from each other and with a running meter, you are talking a lot of money. The station might have some information too. Good luck.
