What is the 'must see' for a one day visit

My boyfriend and I are visiting Norfolk for one day and evening during our forthcoming cruise. We really don%26#39;t want to miss out on something special so any advice would be much appreciated.

What is the 'must see' for a one day visit

Your ship will dock in downtown Norfolk, within walking distance of several interesting places (depending on what you like to see and do). Here are a few:

Ship will dock next to Nauticus and Battleship USS Wisconsin, many wonderful restaurants downtown (if you desire a change from the ship), Douglas MacArthur Memorial, MacArthur Center (shopping), to the left of ship dock is Town Point Park follow the path along the riverfront to Waterside area %26amp; take the ferry across the river to Portsmouth for more sightseeing in Olde Towne, Chrysler Museum about 6 blocks from ship dock one of the finest art collections in US, great museum, there is a self guided walking trail called the Cannonball Trail which will take you to around downtown called such because of the cannonball which remains in the side of St Paul%26#39;s Church.
