The boardwalk area of VB does not have many houses for rent. Well, not oceanfront. They%26#39;ll be several blocks back. You can find oceanfront homes at the north end, and at Croatan, but you will not be in walking distance of restaurants and shops, if that makes a difference to you. Sandbridge Beach is another option - much more a residential beach with lots of rentals but not as many restaurants and shops as the boardwalk area.

Also consider renting directly from the owner by checking vrbo.com and a1vacations.com.
