lightwood-historic 18th century plantation house

we%26#39;re planning a short getaway to williamsburg, va. this july and planning to stay at the lightwood plantation. has anybody stayed there? I have been unable to find reviews from any independent source.

I wasn%26#39;t familiar with this place, so I googled and found their website. It looks very nice. You%26#39;ll be around 45 minutes away from Williamsburg via the ferry; possibly a bit longer if you just miss a ferry launch.



You%26#39;ll be close to Smithfield, Historic St. Luke%26#39;s, Bacon%26#39;s Castle and to Chippokes Plantation State Parks. All are interesting things on that side of the James River. The Pork, Peanut, and Pine Festival is held at Chippokes July 19-20, 2008.
