We are taking our first trip to VB in August and are staying at the Fairfield Inn %26amp; Suites. Has anyone stayed here that can let us know how your stay was. It seems that most of the reviews were very positive, but you always find one that says a place ';was the worst hotel ever';, which worrys me. The maps show that it is located right in the middle of everything, so the location should be okay. We are traveling with another family of 4, so it should be fun. We are looking forward to a vacation where we can just walk out the hotel door and find everything we need within walking distance. I like that it has a continental breakfast and all rooms have balconies so we won%26#39;t arrive only to find out we have a parking lot view. The price was also very reasonable.
Has anyone stayed at the Fairfield Inn %26amp; Suites?
I%26#39;m local so I haven%26#39;t stayed at the Fairfield, but I%26#39;ve seen it many times while walking the boardwalk. It%26#39;s a nice looking building, oceanfront, on the boardwalk, located at 19th St middle of the boardwalk (which runs from 3rd to 40th). The reviews I saw were very positive except for one, and the one complaint was mostly about the staff. I would not be concerned with one negative review, especially when so many were extremely good. Hope you have a great time at the beach.

This hotel gets a lot of positive discussion here in the forum. Type ';Fairfield Inn'; into the search box above this screen to see where people have discussed this hotel (forum discussion is different from the Hotels reviews, in case you%26#39;re not aware).
I wouldn%26#39;t worry about an occasional bad review or even an occasional extremely positive review. I always look at the poster%26#39;s personal info -- if he has only one hotel review written on the day he registered with TA and has participated in no forum discussions, I write him off as a troll.

Thanks for your imputs. I%26#39;m enjoying the Forum and have started answering the questions I can about places we%26#39;ve been. I%26#39;ll be sure to say how our experience was etc. We all can%26#39;t wait for our trip.
Stayed at the Fairfield Suites last year. The rooms were great, clean etc. I would definetly stay there a gain.
Thanks Icemann55. I%26#39;ve also read that some people recommended staying on the 2nd floor because the balconies are larger. I requested that, but worry that we might be to low and it might be a bit noisy with people walking just below us. But I%26#39;d rather have a larger balcony.
We stayed there last year with three kids we loved it.The free breakfast is great and the kids loved the pool and it is near everything you can walk everywhere. We can not wait to go back this summer. You and your family will love the hotel and Virginia Beach.
