First,THANK YOU so much for all the great info on this forum! My father is in need of bilateral knee surgery. Trying to minimize walking and so far he wants nothing to do with a wheel chair. We%26#39;ll have 3 days in CW.... breaking it up in three sections(Merchant square/museums,palace area,rev city area.ANy ideas where to park or how to get around would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the fast reply,goneagain2. My father is considered legally handicapped in the state of PA and has a parking tag...is that legal in other areas as well? It is our first time visiting the CW area and the maps are not very clear to parking lot areas.




The shuttles circulate from the Visitors Center (lots of handicap parking there) to several stops on the perimeter of the historic area. There is parking in the Tavern lot, south of Francis Street nearest the Capital/Rev City area, as well as in the Merchants Square area. There is also visitor parking behind the DeWitt Wallace museum, off Nassau Street south of Francis Street.
