getting from airport to mountain lake hotel

Does anyone have any information for me about what the closest airport is to Mountain lake Hotel in Pembroke? (Dirty Dancing hotel). I am coming from Memphis and i%26#39;m having trouble finding the information about how to get to this hotel via public transport-plane and then either train or bus. Anything anyone can tell me would be GREATLY appreciated! I%26#39;m trying to book this and have no idea what to do.

Roanoke Va is about an hour (east) from Pembroke, that might be your best bet for an airport; from there check ground transportation on the airport web site to get options for getting to Mountain Lake if you are not renting a car. I checked www.greyhound.com for the bus schedule and it does not look like they go from Roanoke to Pembroke (or somewhere close, like Blacksburg, but you can check for yourself). Enjoy your trip.

Public transportation in the US is just bad (unless you%26#39;re in New York, Boston, Chicago, maybe a few other places). The Roanoke airport is the closest airport. The Smart Way bus will get you to Blacksburg, but not to Pembroke. Or you%26#39;ll need to rent a car or hire a taxi or limo service.
