Williamsburg ticket experts: please advise!

Hi.

8-year old daughter and I are planning at least 2 trips to Williamsburg. April 13-20 and June 1-8. I am trying to decide the best ticket options.

We want to do Busch Gardens for sure. We are Virginia residents, so can get the Fun Card, but then have to pay for Parking, and that adds up.

We might also want to do CW and the Old Jamestowne down by the water. Don%26#39;t know about Water Country.

I guess the Busch Gardens ticket choice is the one I%26#39;m having the hardest time deciding upon. For whom is the Platinum Pass worth it? We do travel to Seaworld Orlando.

Thanks soooo much!!

The Platinum Pass offers parking benefits at all Busch parks. It also includes 2 years of admissions. It%26#39;s $335. If you come to BG twice, that would be $114 using the Fun Card plus $10/day parking ($9/day if you buy in advance on the internet). SeaWorld Orlando%26#39;s admission is $126 for one adult and one child, with a second day admission included within 7 days of the first visit. Doing the math: $114 + 20 (2 days parking) + 126 + 20 (parking) = $280. One Platinum Pass = $335, and you%26#39;d need a second pass. The second one could be one with fewer benefits, because you%26#39;d already have parking with the one PP.

Then you have to factor in, would you use the PP at more than one park? If you%26#39;d also go to Water Country or one of the water parks in Florida, that increases the benefit/price ratio. Bottom line, only you can decide. Hope this helps, though.

Thank you. It does seem like the Platinum Pass is pretty costly for what we need.

Why not take a look at the 1 Park Pass (formerly Silver Pass)? If you use the promo code %26#39;cox%26#39; you can pick it up the pass for $114/each and get the free parking.
