Hampton Inn Condos and Marriott Condos

Does anyone have any information on what%26#39;s going in next to the new SpringHill Suites Virginia Beach Oceanfront. I saw the construction photos and it said it was to be condos and a Hapton Inn. Also, does anyone know or have information on the condos in the same building as the SpringHill Suites. Thanks.

The Hampton Inn Condos are from $800,000 to $2,400,000. Prudential Decker is selling them. I don%26#39;t know anything about the other ones.

So does anyone know where I can find information on the actual Hampton Inn hotel that is being built at this location?

I wouldn%26#39;t plan on it for next summer, if that%26#39;s what you mean.

Does anybody have any idea of when they%26#39;re breaking ground and construction is starting on these condos and hotel? I have a reservation at the SpringHill Suites for June of this year, and am worried about possible construction noise during my stay. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide.

I don%26#39;t know if they%26#39;re beginning in the spring or not. I will say the Spring Hill Suites hotel itself has those expensive condos attached to its north end and then the oceanfront pool and cafe area beside it - so it gets the sun without being blocked by the hotel in the mid afternoon (of course the beach is so wide it%26#39;s never possible to be blocked by anything when sunning). And beyond the pool complex is the land for the Hampton Inn. So you would be separated from construction while in the room....and you could ask for a room on the south side of the hotel which would be further away.

What I%26#39;d wonder about is any noise and dust while one is at the pool. Of course, again, there is that big wonderful beach. But there are times one gets a hotel with an outdoor pool because one wants a hotel with a useable outdoor pool area.

I%26#39;d love to know if anyone finds out a definitive answer because this is one of our own new favorite hotels. And all we hear is %26#39;we don%26#39;t really know yet%26#39;.

We were just down there last weekend (January 26th %26amp; 27th) and construction still had not started.

I was down at the Oceanfront today and there were signs that said Hampton Inn %26amp; Condos coming 2009. So I%26#39;d assume that construction will begin in maybe a week or so.

I went to the Hampton Inn website and found that there seems to be another Hampton Inn Oceanfront North hotel opening in July, 2008.

What is weird is that they have no information on the Hampton Inn that is being bulit next door to the SpringHill Suites. Why is this?
