Ghost Walks

From researching the Williamsburg sites there seem to be 2 different ghost walks. Would like to do w/our 10 %26amp; 12 year old sons next weekend. Does it matter which one or do what fits our schedule? Zoey you have wonderful tips so always appreciate your insight.

Ghost Walks

There are actually more than two ghost walks! Colonial Williamsburg has the ';Legends, Myths, Mysteries, and Ghosts'; walking tour as well as the Tavern Ghost Walk. It ';wanders dark Duke of Gloucester Street and reveals eerie experiences and unexplained phenomena our staff and guests have encountered in the Historic Area during the past few years.'; It would be my first choice, with the ';Legends'; a close second.

Ghost Walks

We did the Tavern Ghost Walk last February and it was wonderful!

Thanks for the insight doesn%26#39;t look like those tours are scheduled from CW during our stay so will try another one and if we get back to CW try it then.

Thanks again for both of your reponses!

Check on the Tavern Ghost Tour once you%26#39;re here. It may not be advertised yet, but they might be doing them anyway.

CW is doing ghost walks every night now. Call 1 800 HISTORY and ask for the Tavern Ghost Walk that begins in fron of Shield%26#39;s Tavern. This has become a very popular tour and is great fun.

Thanks for the info. I just bought tickets for the Tavern tour that starts at 7:00 pm. Do you suggest eating at Shield%26#39;s Tavern before the tour, since the tour meets in front of the tavern?

Shields will be closing at 4:30 in March. If you want something nearby, the Kings Arms will be open for dinner from 5 p.m.

When we were in CW last, Shield%26#39;s Tavern was a fast food tavern. It had soups, biscuits, salads, drinks. If you are looking for something more substantial, you might want to dine at the King%26#39;s Arms or Campbell%26#39;s if you want a tavern experience.

Thank you!

I%26#39;ve been on the Legends Tour (many years ago) and it was fabulous! I hope to do the other one this time.
