I checked www.greyhound.com for bus service and they do not go to Staunton. On the Richmond aiprort website, www.flyrichmond.com, go to ground transportations, you will see the name of someone (Joe A.) to call or send an email concerning ground transportation questions, try that. Good luck.

Public transportation is the pits. This area isn%26#39;t large enough or busy enough to support ride share programs like you%26#39;ll find in some places. Renting a car is really the best option. I hope Joe at the airport has a solution for you. If so, please post what it is so we%26#39;ll know for future travelers.

It is possible to travel to Charlottesville from Richmond using the Greyhound Bus and then the Amtrak train from Charlottesvile to Staunton but doing this results in a 3 hour travel time for a trip that should take about 1.5 hours by car.

As was stated, there really aren%26#39;t many options since the Staunton/ Waynesboro area isn%26#39;t heavily populated.

You can book the journey from Richmond to Staunton on Amtrak, but the portion from Richmond to Charlottesville is via bus, then from Charlottesville to Staunton is by train.
