Excellent BBQ, small casual restaurant

Love the BBQ from Ashland%26#39;s Virginia Barbecue.

I always order the pork barbecue Virginia Style. The portion is huge, the barbecue moist and flavorful - my favorite BBQ anywhere. They have chicken and beef barbecue too I believe but I always get pork so can%26#39;t comment on those.

The potato salad and other sides and desserts are delicious. It is a tiny restaurant but there is usually a place to sit and service is always speedy, in part because you place your own order rather than having it taken by a waitress.

The owners are frequently there and welcoming, and they always have some great local teens working there as well.

Prices are moderate and you get a lot for your money.

Another wonderful reason that I love living in Ashland, the ';Center of the Universe';.
